Whixall History – home page

Welcome to the website of Whixall History Group.

Whixall is a small rural, open countryside parish in north Shropshire. It resides with an enormous area of mossland protecting its northern boundary with the market towns of Ellesmere, Whitchurch and Wem, positioned like watchtowers, marking its flanks. The ‘triangle’ that marks Whixall parallels the Bermuda Triangle as once entered, so they say, exiting is not so easy.
